About Us

Do you want to work at a pleasant, well-established, and slightly smaller health center together with well-educated and competent colleagues? Then you are welcome to us at Vårdcentralen Torshälla! We have about 9,200 registered patients and we are around 40 employees. The health center is located just outside Eskilstuna, and there are good parking facilities as well as good bus connections.

The psychosocial team at the health center works based on primary care's mission with assessment and treatment of mild to moderate mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, stress and burnout, trauma, lifestyle habits, and life changes. The psychosocial team also includes a psychiatric nurse. In the psychosocial team, we work based on a stepped care model that includes assessment of care needs and what interventions are deemed appropriate.

Your Responsibilities

Your tasks primarily include:

• Assessment and treatment based on primary care's mission. Treatment is mainly conducted using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). We offer group courses with FACT, internet-CBT, and individual treatment via physical visits or video consultations.
• In-depth assessment and screening of psychiatric issues and referral procedures to other healthcare providers.
• Consultation and collaboration with other professional categories in various forms of teamwork.
• Participating in the rehabilitation section together with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation coordinators. The position also includes collaboration on sick leave cases and return to work.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed psychologist or licensed psychotherapist. You need to have good collaboration skills as you will be part of a team. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Employment Type

Permanent employment with start date according to agreement.
