At the social administration, within care and support, we work based on full-time as the norm. We collaborate with more regular employees in planning to cover each other's absences. This means that you work within a collaborative area and not just at one workplace. In part of the area, we are working on a pilot project called "Falkenberg's Home Care Model," which is a political initiative aimed at creating a more sustainable working environment for home care. The purpose is also to increase continuity for users with a more person-centered elderly care. Here, you work with colleagues who have good experience and competence in care and support work.

We are now looking for 4 colleagues for the home care area Öster, which includes Hjortsberg and Slöinge!

In Hjortsberg's and Slöinge's home care, we work together and help each other across boundaries when needed. To assist you in your work, there are several professionals, such as unit managers, team coordinators, nursing assistants, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. Our focus is on doing what is best for the user to feel safe in their home.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work in the user's own home and provide care, support, and services according to approved assistance. You work from a rehabilitative perspective with an emphasis on dignity and well-being for the user. You should utilize and stimulate the individual's resources and perform healthcare tasks after delegation from a nurse. Here, you work with colleagues who have good experience and competence in care and support work.

In home care, you will also meet team coordinators who plan the work with you to ensure the quality of care and support for the user.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and can provide proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare of the right to use the protected professional title.

You need to have good computer skills to work in our operational systems. We are looking for someone who is interested in creating and maintaining an operation where we work based on our users' health and living conditions. You are genuinely interested in meeting people in need of care and support.

To thrive with us, you need to be flexible and interested in working with varied tasks. You are responsible, have the ability to plan and organize your work, and find it easy to collaborate. You are cheerful and positive and can adapt to unexpected situations. You are proactive and attentive to the user's needs and have a natural respect for your fellow human beings.

Being able to cycle and having a B driver's license is a requirement for the position.

OTHER

Since July 1, 2023, nursing assistant is a protected professional title. This means that a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare is required to use the title nursing assistant in care and support.
