About the organization

Närakuten is a primary care emergency clinic that takes care of patients who do not require the resources of an emergency hospital and relieves health centers in the management of patients. Närakuten is open 07–24 every day of the year and receives approximately 33,000 patients annually. We are now looking for Specialist Doctors in general medicine or other specialties for permanent employment, part-time or full-time.

About the role

Närakuten's mission is to be the first line of care for patients with acute conditions. Tasks and pace of work vary naturally as we only offer unplanned visits, drop-in.

In this role, you will meet patients as in a primary care emergency clinic. You will assess, prioritize, and manage patients in collaboration with your team. Many patients are treated at Närakuten while others who require more are referred to the emergency department with hospital resources.

We are looking for someone who is/has

• Specialist in general medicine.

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

• Experience from previous work at an emergency center.

As a person, you are empathetic, positive, and you see that good cooperation and interaction are a given. You focus on the patient and are a good colleague.

Practical information

Start: By agreement
Scope: Full-/part-time.
Employment: Permanent position.
Working hours: Day, evening, and weekend by agreement.
Location: Kungsbacka hospital
