Job Responsibilities

In the Neurorehab team, your and your colleagues' specific and combined expertise will ensure that patients receive good and equitable care.

Your task will be to work closely with the patient and their network, as well as other team members, to conduct assessments, treatments, planning, develop rehabilitation plans, and lead group education. As an occupational therapist with us, you will work with assessment and treatment of hand function, brain fatigue, and cognition in patients with neurological injuries or diseases. As a new employee, you will receive a thorough introduction.

About the Workplace

At Neurorehab, you will meet a cheerful and dedicated team of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, and speech therapists. We are a team-based operation within Halland's Primary Care, located at Vallås Health Center, and we work with assessment and rehabilitation of neurological injuries/diseases. Common diagnosis groups include stroke, MS, Parkinson's disease, etc. The assignment also includes rehabilitation of post-COVID patients.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist with an interest in working with neurological rehabilitation. Previous experience in neurorehabilitation is an advantage.

As a person, you enjoy and are accustomed to working both independently and in a team. You adapt easily and see opportunities in changes while being secure and independent in your professional role. You are skilled at organizing and prioritizing your work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
