About the position

The Speech and Language Therapy Clinic in Falkenberg is a general outpatient clinic. Currently, four speech and language therapists work at the clinic. Our largest patient group consists of children of preschool and school age with speech and language difficulties. We also treat patients with voice disorders and adult patients with difficulties of neurological origin.

At our Speech and Language Therapy Clinic, you will have the opportunity to develop broad experience and have a stimulating job with varied tasks. The tasks include assessments, treatment, consultations, and group information. All new employees are offered an introduction and mentorship by an experienced colleague. Here, you will have the chance to develop in several ways together with experienced and competent colleagues who support each other in an interesting and varied work environment!

Our other speech and language therapy clinics are located in Kungsbacka, Varberg, Halmstad, Hylte, and Laholm, and all are part of the Rehabilitation Clinic at Halland Hospital. The clinics share two managers, and we have close cooperation between them. Our employees are key to Halland Hospital achieving excellent results in many national measurements, and we work with continuous improvements. It is easy to feel at home with us!

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed speech and language therapist. You should be able to express yourself clearly and pedagogically, both verbally and in writing, and have good knowledge of the Swedish language. A B-class driver's license is an asset for the position. To enjoy and succeed in the role, you need a good ability to build good relationships with our patients as well as your colleagues. You should find it easy to work independently and enjoy doing so. The role requires a flexible approach while having the ability to see the big picture. As a person, you are proactive and achieve results while being able to drive your own processes. We place great importance on personal suitability.
