Your Responsibilities

Do you want to help develop our unit for nurses within health and social care in Halmstad Municipality?

We work in teams, and as a nurse, you will assess and perform medical treatment and nursing interventions.

Much of the practical work is independent; therefore, it is important that you are comfortable working independently with standard nursing tasks and leading care staff.

In addition to patient-centered work involving assessments, examinations, information, and counseling, you also play an important role in collaborating with care staff in home care services and residential facilities. As a nurse, you are responsible for mentoring and delegating tasks to care staff.

We offer continuous professional development to maintain high quality and meet patients' needs.

As a nurse in home health care, you will work during the day with a weekly working time of 38.25 hours, including working every sixth weekend.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed nurse. Experience in home health care or equivalent work is an asset. Specialized competence or further education in geriatrics, palliative care, or other relevant fields is also an advantage.

We appreciate candidates who take responsibility, are solution-focused, and have a reflective approach in their work. It is of utmost importance that you are sociable, attentive, and independent, with the ability to create a sense of security for both our patients and colleagues. We use digital tools for documentation and medication management. Therefore, we value a positive attitude towards technology and experience with digital systems such as Lifecare Voo, Lifecare SP, Appva, Pascal, and NPÖ.

To be considered for the position, you must also hold a Class B driver's license.
