The Social Services Administration is responsible for providing support, care, and assistance to people at various stages of life. We work based on individual needs and offer services grounded in several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS), and the Health and Medical Services Act.

This may involve ensuring a secure and meaningful daily life for the elderly, supporting persons with disabilities, or being there for children, young people, and adults in vulnerable life situations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The work involves resource shifts within our joint resource planning (ARP), giving you the opportunity to work at several of our residential facilities in Rolfstorp, Kungsäter, and Veddige.

Our residential facilities are located in nature-rich rural environments, which means you need to be comfortable traveling between workplaces by car.

As an assistant nurse, you work to provide care and social support to people in need. You work based on individual implementation plans and are responsible for planning, executing, and following up on measures that promote the user's independence, security, and well-being.

Responsibilities include, among others:

• Personal care and support in daily life
• Health and medical tasks following delegation
• Documentation in digital systems
• Support for relatives and collaboration with colleagues and other professions

The work may take place in different types of operations, both in special housing for the elderly and short-term housing for the elderly. The work is scheduled during the day, evenings, and weekends, depending on the needs of the operation.

QUALIFICATIONS

As an assistant nurse, you need a combination of professional knowledge, responsibility, and respectful treatment. You enjoy collaborating but are also confident working independently. Your engagement and responsiveness to the needs of others are crucial for success in this role.

We also require that you have:

• Approved assistant nurse education with proof of a protected professional title from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen)
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Class B driver's license; cycling skills may be required depending on the operation.

Experience in elderly care is an asset.
