Care Assistant/Nursing Student Wanted for Municipal Primary Care in Falkenberg

The Municipal Primary Care in Falkenberg is responsible for the health and medical care provided at home. The municipal primary care is a nursing service that operates throughout Falkenberg municipality, where district nurses and nursing assistants work together.

We are now looking for you who are a nursing assistant or a nursing student in your 4th/5th semester who wants to work with us this summer!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Our operation is responsible for patients both in special housing and in regular housing. As a nursing assistant with us, you will perform home health care services in our patients' homes. You will work closely with the nurses and perform delegated tasks such as sample collection, some medication management, wound dressing, etc. You will also assist with inventory orders. You will be part of a team consisting of nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and nursing assistants. The work involves teamwork as well as independent work.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a trained nursing assistant and can provide proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare that you have the right to use the title. If you are still waiting for your proof, you need to show that you have a valid nursing assistant education and that you have applied for and are waiting for your proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare.

If you have completed at least 4 semesters of the nursing program with passing grades, it may instead be relevant to be employed as a care assistant HSL.

If you have experience working in home health care, this is an advantage.

We expect you to always work for good and patient-safe care. It is important that you have good collaboration skills, are responsible, and have a strong commitment to your work. You feel comfortable caring for individuals in their home environment regardless of age and level of health care needs. You are eager to help develop new working methods. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

A driver's license is a requirement for the position.
