The role of Care Assistant, Nursing Assistant, and Aide with us

As care staff with us, you motivate and assist care recipients based on their individual circumstances, needs, and wishes. The tasks can vary from personal care, support during meals, assistance in social activities, certain health and medical tasks, and collaboration with home healthcare, colleagues, and relatives. We work with various assignments where you, as a representative from your unit, are involved in driving the operations forward in working groups within, for example, advocacy assignments. The tasks also include being a contact person, planning, implementing, documenting, and following up on the care work with the person in need of support and assistance.

You will work according to a schedule that includes days, evenings, and every other weekend.

Your profile

In your daily work, you show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role. You have an open and positive attitude as you prioritize the care recipient's needs and distinguish between the issue and the person. Working with people often involves changing conditions and new information; you can quickly adjust your perspective and approach, see opportunities in changes, and make well-founded decisions under time pressure. You work effectively under increased workload, can balance different demands, and remain calm in challenging situations. You collaborate with others to perform tasks and achieve goals. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for you who:

• are at least 18 years old
• have good computer skills
• express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written

Our offer and additional information

We offer a permanent position with placement according to agreement.

The position is full-time or according to agreement. Within the Department for Care & Support, all employees in home care and care and nursing homes are employed at a 100% employment rate, but employees have the opportunity to reduce their desired employment rate based on the needs of the operations.

As of July 1, 2023, care assistant is a protected professional title.
