About the job

We are looking for a child health psychologist for the Vallås Health Center.

The work at the child health center involves consultation with staff and parents, short-term psychological treatment, as well as assessment and investigation work. You have the opportunity to influence your own work and schedule and alternate between digital and physical visits. At the child health center, you work in a team with two experienced child health nurses.

If you are interested in a larger assignment, there is the opportunity to work 20% at Neurorehab, which also has its premises at Vallås Health Center. At Neurorehab, you work in a team with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, and meet patients with stroke, MS, and post-COVID.

Vallås Health Center has approximately 6,300 registered patients. We have a medical clinic with specialist doctors in general medicine, a child health center, a district nurse clinic, and a vaccination clinic. The health center also has physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, and psychologists. An elderly care home, SÄBO, in the area is linked to the health center.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed psychologist with CBT competence.

You feel comfortable with both independent work and teamwork. You have good collaboration and communication skills and enjoy working and developing the business together with others. You adapt easily and see opportunities in changes. Furthermore, you need to be good at organizing and prioritizing your work. Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required, as well as good computer skills. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
