Bedagården is a dementia care facility in Onsala with 27 apartments.

Your role as a Nursing Assistant, Care Assistant, or Aide with us

In your work, you will meet people with various needs in their homes, making each day both meaningful and varied. You will be part of an engaged and professional team where collaboration is key – both with colleagues and with other professionals such as rehabilitation staff, nurses, and home care.

We actively work to clarify the role of nursing assistants in elderly care. Therefore, cleaning tasks, such as cleaning tenants' apartments, are not included in this role. This allows you to focus on the core of care – creating safety, providing support, and contributing to quality in every interaction.

We offer a position on weekdays and every other weekend, where you will work according to a schedule that includes days, evenings, and every other weekend.

Your profile

As a person, you are accommodating in your interactions and attentive to your surroundings. You create new contacts while maintaining your current work relationships. You take responsibility and drive your work forward, delivering results and prioritizing your tasks effectively. You see opportunities in changes, take initiative, and bring new approaches to work-related matters. Personal suitability will be highly valued.

We are looking for someone who:

• is at least 18 years old
• expresses themselves well in Swedish, both spoken and written, as it is required in daily work

Our offer and additional information

We offer a permanent full-time position with placement according to agreement.

The position is full-time or according to agreement. Within the Administration for Care & Support, all employees in home care and care facilities are employed at a 100% employment rate, but employees have the opportunity to reduce their desired employment rate based on the needs of the operation. The schedule includes shifts during the day, evening, and every other weekend.

Background checks may be conducted before employment.

As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant is a protected professional title. Therefore, when employed as a nursing assistant, you must present proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title nursing assistant.
