The Education Administration is responsible for preschool, pedagogical care, after-school programs, preschool classes, primary school, adapted primary school, secondary school, adapted secondary school, municipal adult education, special education for adults, Swedish for immigrants (SFI), youth centers, and cultural schools.

Preschool and after-school activities are available at all seven F-6 schools, geographically spread throughout the municipality.

Altorpskolan, which is the municipality's only 7-9 school, receives students from all our F-6 schools and is strategically located in central Herrljunga. Also, Kunskapskällan, the municipality's secondary school, is located in the Herrljunga locality.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a youth leader for our youth center Freetime. The position is a permanent part-time position at 50%. We apply a probationary period of 6 months.

At the youth center, we have two employees who each work 50%, but always together. The position is scheduled for three evenings a week, which currently means working Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings during the school terms. During holidays, the opening hours are usually adjusted somewhat after dialogue between the youth leaders, the youth, and the principal. Together with your colleague, you will plan, implement, and document all activities at the youth center.

The youth center's premises are newly renovated and are adjacent to Altorpskolan.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a youth leader with great commitment and self-drive. You are a secure adult with a stable value base who can engage the youth and create a safe and vibrant meeting place. As a youth leader, we see you as a key person in the lives of the youth. You take responsibility for the overall development of the school in general and the development of the youth center in particular and want to help drive it into the future together with us.

In Herrljunga municipality, full-time is the norm with the possibility of part-time. If full-time positions are unavailable, it may mean that positions can be combined with other tasks or at another workplace.
