ABB is one of the world’s leading suppliers of products, systems, and services in electrical power. The market is growing – and now we need to expand our team.

Within ABB Service, we work closely with our customers and are represented in several locations across Sweden, from Gällivare in the north to Malmö in the south. We are currently looking for someone who wants to specialize in UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) and contribute to our continued growth.

In this role, we offer a long-term development plan where you will gradually build a solid competence in both technology and our offerings, together with our Power Protection team. You will have the time and support to get to know our solutions in depth, with good opportunities to gradually take on more responsibility as your experience grows.

The mission of the Power Protection team is to design, integrate, and deliver solutions as well as provide services that increase operational reliability, availability, and profitability for our customers – while minimizing risks in production facilities. We work throughout the lifecycle of the facility and help our customers drive continuous improvement.

Your Responsibilities

• You will work closely with our Power Protection team that develops, packages, and sells UPS solutions.
• The role consists of a combination of sales and project responsibility.
• You will be in contact with customers, understand their needs, and develop a technical solution that fits their operations.
• You will prepare quotes and guide the customer through the entire process – from first contact to delivery and handover.
• You will collaborate closely with colleagues within the UPS team, such as managers, planners, and technicians.
• For the right person, there are excellent development opportunities, such as towards project management, system design, or leadership roles.
• The position is based at ABB’s office in Kista.

Your Background

• You are a driven and curious person who enjoys taking responsibility and making things happen.
• You have a post-secondary education in electrical engineering, such as electrical engineering, electrical engineer, or control engineering.
• You have experience in selling electrical or energy solutions, preferably to industry, data centers, or other critical facilities. You want to deepen your competence and further develop in the UPS area.
• You have a valid driver's license and are comfortable working in the Office suite.
• You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, in speech and writing.
• As a person, you are meticulous, technically interested, and have an open and attentive approach towards both customers and colleagues.
• If you have previously worked with UPS, batteries, or DC systems, it is a significant plus.
