Your role as a Category Specialist at Oriola means that you will coordinate our assortment every day. You will ensure that the flow from supplier to customer runs smoothly by ensuring that our item data is correct in our systems. You will work on everything from supporting sales processes by compiling materials and creating product lists to handling daily item administration. You will also work with product analyses, support and nurture the assortment within the category, and put together marketing letters and materials. You will work in a Nordic context with many points of contact in both Sweden and Finland. We offer you a unique insight into the industry with great opportunities to grow and develop.

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for item data. This means that you will operationally create, update, and ensure the quality of product information, pricing, logistics data, and product texts in our systems.
  • You will work to coordinate product flows and act as a key function to ensure that all information flows correctly between suppliers, logistics, marketing, and sales. You will receive data, process it, and ensure it is placed correctly.
  • The role will support our internal sales cycles. This means preparing and compiling materials, product lists, price files, and presentations for our sales-related meetings.
  • Manage the practical and system-related work during the launch of new products in the Swedish market.
  • You will regularly work in Excel and Power BI to produce reports, analyze data, and follow up on the assortment.
  • The role is also responsible for ensuring that we adhere to established processes and deadlines.

Qualifications

  • To succeed in this role, we see that you are organized and structured. You are analytical and have the ability to manage a complex operation with many points of contact. We see that you are solution-oriented, communicative, and work proactively.
  • We see that you have a couple of years of experience in a similar role within category and product management, as well as product knowledge from consumer goods such as health, wellness, and beauty.
  • You need to have excellent skills in Excel and be accustomed to handling large amounts of data.
  • Experience working in systems like SAP, Power BI, Validoo, or similar is a significant advantage.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as this is our corporate language and is used daily.
  • We value if you have worked in a related industry such as retail, pharmaceuticals, or e-commerce.
