We are looking for someone who wants to work as a Specialist Nursing Assistant at Brogården's elderly care home. Brogården's elderly care home has a total of 80 apartments spread across eight departments.

We offer group housing for people with dementia or physical disabilities. As a nursing assistant with us, you primarily work in your home department but also do shifts in other departments. Brogården's elderly care home is one of the municipality's newest elderly care homes, located in the Brogården area.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of specialist nursing assistant with us at Brogården's elderly care home, you have a special assignment within the unit to increase quality for users and employees. The work as a specialist nursing assistant at the elderly care home means that you work closely with the users in the daily work on the department. In addition, you have an important responsibility for the guidance and training of care staff as well as for deviation management.

As a specialist nursing assistant, you are proactive in the pedagogical work of the organization and have good competence, a positive attitude, and ethical competence in meetings with both users and relatives. Together with the unit manager and colleagues, you are responsible for developing and maintaining an operation that is attractive both for our users and for employees.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained specialist nursing assistant with relevant specialist education and has a strong commitment to care work. You have previous experience as a nursing assistant. Previous experience and knowledge of the operational system Combine as well as good computer skills are advantageous for the position.

You have a salutogenic working method, are attentive, and engaged in a way that creates opportunities and conditions for both users and colleagues. You should have a good ability to see the whole and context while being able to consider the individual needs of persons. It is very important that you have good collaboration skills and the ability to share information and ideas, both verbally and in writing, in a pedagogical manner. You adapt your communication according to the recipient, target group, and situation.
