Ekerö support is a practical, pedagogical, and social intervention aimed at strengthening individuals' ability to manage everyday life – both at home and in society. With us, dedicated support workers with experience in care and support work. The work is individually tailored based on each person's needs and goals, focusing on promoting independence, creating structure in everyday life, and preventing institutional care. Continuity and good relationships are central parts of the mission.
Job Description

Currently, we have four units located centrally in Ekerö center, Support/Social Psychiatry, and three Service Apartments. We are now looking for a Support Worker for Support. The work is flexible and involves performing tasks where the need is greatest.

The work is scheduled and based on assignments from the authorities. With us, you will have a role where you make a difference every day.
Qualifications
To succeed in the role, you need the following:
- a pedagogical education or education in psychiatry. At least at the high school level, but it is an advantage if you have furthered your education.
- experience working with people in vulnerable and difficult situations.
- experience working with people with addiction issues.
- Good computer skills – we work in several digital operational systems.
- Knowledge and experience of social documentation (meritorious with IBIC).
- Ability to express yourself well in speech and writing.
- Very good knowledge of the Swedish language.
It is important that you have a professional approach with a focus on low-affect responses and clarifying pedagogy. You should also have good knowledge of various disabilities, such as autism, ADHD, and problem-causing behaviors.
You have a positive outlook and a strong commitment to people. You are responsible, mature, and enjoy working in a team where you contribute to a good work environment. With us, the best interests of the client/user are always in focus, and we work with collegial learning.
As a person, you are independent, unpretentious, and have good collaboration skills. The work involves many contacts – with relatives, caseworkers, managers, colleagues, daily activities, and other important people in the individual's life. Therefore, it is important that you are clear, pedagogical, and driven by helping people grow and develop.
A driving license is a requirement.

How to Get to Ekerö Municipality
To work at Ekerö municipality within LSS, you must present an extract (HVB) from the police's criminal record together with valid photo identification before employment. You can request the extract on the police's website. The extract should not be older than six months from the date of issue.
