Soros Consulting is seeking an experienced interim negotiation manager for a qualified assignment within the public sector. The assignment involves replacing the regular negotiation manager during a leave of absence and includes both strategic and operational responsibilities within the labor law area.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating labor law issues, central union negotiations, and collaboration forums at the agency level, with a particular focus on collective bargaining negotiations. You will work both strategically and operationally and are expected to make independent decisions and provide qualified support to the organization in contractual, terms, and labor law matters.

The assignment also includes responsibility for the assessment and decision regarding local restructuring funds, support in wage formation work including salary reviews and wage mapping, as well as conducting training within labor law, collaboration, and terms issues. The role is also an active part of HR's digitalization efforts, with particular responsibility for ensuring that contract and terms regulations function correctly during the implementation of a new payroll system.

Assignment Period

Start date: 2026-03-02

End date: 2026-10-31

Option for extension up to 12 months.

Qualifications

• Academic education in human resources, behavioral science, law, or equivalent
• At least 10 years of experience in labor law, collective agreements, and union negotiations
• Documented experience in independently leading collective agreement and MBL negotiations
• Experience in independent decision-making in contractual and negotiation matters
• Experience in operational work with agreements, terms, and wage formation
• Experience in the role of negotiation manager within the public sector

Meritorious

• Experience in HR digitalization projects, especially payroll systems
• Experience with agreements related to irregular working hours
• Experience from a government agency or business-driven operations
