Welcome to the Health and Care Administration. We provide support and care for the elderly and for people with disabilities. Our goal is to enable them to live as active and independent lives as possible.

The Health and Care Administration is one of Sweden's largest employers in municipal care and support. Here, approximately 7,500 employees work based on our core values – making a difference, working together, and welcoming innovation. With us, there are great opportunities to take responsibility, develop, and contribute with your skills. We strive for an organizational culture built on trust and pride in our work.

Within the Health and Care Administration, full-time is the norm. This means that all permanent employees essentially have a full-time position. More information about what this means for this position will be provided during a potential interview. Personal assistants are exempt from the full-time norm.

We are now looking for a licensed nurse for our short-term care facility. Would you like to work in a varied role where you can work independently and in a team while contributing to high-quality care? Then you are the one we are looking for! We warmly welcome your application.

Svartbäcksgården is a short-term care facility with 58 care places. We work person-centered, and the health and medical care needs of our patients vary. Our patients usually come from the hospital but sometimes from home. You will belong to a large team of 10 nurses, where you will be responsible for 8 patients. We are committed to development and have allocated time for personal and operational development.

Job Description

As a nurse with us, you will have the opportunity to make a difference by contributing your expertise, knowledge, and commitment with the user at the center. Your role will involve working with a variety of tasks within your area.

Your more specific tasks will include:

  • assessing and planning the need for health and medical care interventions and evaluating treatment results
  • supervising nursing staff
  • delegating health and medical care tasks to nursing staff
  • participating in team collaboration regarding users, for example concerning fall risk assessments and Senior Alert

As a nurse, you will be part of the management team together with other licensed personnel and team representatives. Our ambition is for you to develop the organization and yourself in close collaboration with your colleagues.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Swedish nursing license
  • good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
  • experience with documentation and computer skills
  • at least 1 year of experience working as a nurse

It is an advantage if you have worked with elderly people and age-related diseases.

As a person, you have a strong ability to adapt to changing circumstances and can quickly adjust both your perspective and approach. For you, changes represent new opportunities, and you see them as a chance to grow. You work purposefully and have a clear focus on results. Your priorities, planning, and actions are guided by goal-oriented thinking, while also having the flexibility to change direction when goals shift.

You collaborate well with others and relate to them in a responsive and smooth manner. By actively listening, communicating clearly, and managing conflicts constructively, you create good relationships and effective collaborations. Additionally, you have the ability to make decisions and act on them, even when information is limited or circumstances are challenging. Under time pressure, you demonstrate good judgment and decisiveness.
