About the Position

Björneborg Steel AB is now looking for an operator who wants to work in a modern industrial environment and develop within the processing of steel components. The role involves becoming part of a close-knit team that delivers world-class products. As an operator, you will work with the finishing of large steel components where precision regarding tolerances is important. The work is characterized by collaboration and flexibility, where you support production as needed. The company offers extensive training and a secure workplace with a good community.

As an operator, your tasks will mainly consist of:

Processing large steel components
Measuring and quality assurance according to given instructions
Reading technical drawings and working from documentation
Active collaboration with colleagues for an efficient production flow

About You

We are looking for a practical person with a technical interest who is curious about the industry. Reading technical drawings and measurement techniques are central aspects of the role, so you need to feel confident with the basics. Previous experience with CNC or cutting machining is an advantage but not a requirement. Furthermore, we see that you are patient, structured, and enjoy working in a team. You are flexible, helpful, and contribute to good collaboration within the group.

Important for the position is:

Basic knowledge of reading technical drawings and measurement techniques (a central part of the work)
Interest in learning new tasks and developing within the industry
Attention to detail and quality thinking
