About the role of Technical Project Manager

We are facing significant, exciting technological changes as we have now begun the work towards a smarter electricity grid by introducing more modern technology and increased digitalization to improve our deliveries to customers and increase efficiency in our work. This change places new and expanded demands on us to have smart and well-functioning solutions, and therefore we are now looking for a Technical Coordinator who will play a central role in our future work.

As a Technical Project Manager, you will be part of the Operational Technology team responsible for providing the solutions and infrastructure needed to control and monitor the electricity grid, streamline maintenance work, as well as troubleshooting and fault correction in our electricity grid. Your tasks will consist of helping to coordinate our work to set strategies, define guidelines, and develop our solutions. We will also need to establish good management and handle the further development of these. Furthermore, you will also participate in various types of change and development projects.

About you

To fit and thrive in this role, it is desirable that you have an academic education in Automation, OT/IT, power systems, or equivalent. You may also have acquired equivalent competence through work experience.

• You should have previous experience and knowledge of various operating systems and connected devices (e.g., RTUs and PLCs).
• You have a couple of years of experience in technical coordination/project management.
• You speak and write Swedish fluently and are proficient in English.

To thrive and find your place in this role, you need to have a structured working method and a good ability to prioritize and plan. You have a solution-oriented approach and take responsibility for your tasks. Since you collaborate a lot with the rest of the team and other units within Ellevio, you need to have good collaboration skills and be motivated to work in a group.

The location is Karlstad.
