Power Engineer for our Operations
Are you ready to join us on our exciting journey? Ellevio is one of Sweden's largest energy companies, and together we continue to electrify Sweden. With us, you are part of a secure and important future industry while having the opportunity to make a difference, grow as an individual, and have fun along the way! We believe in a bright and sustainable future, do you?
About the role
Our operations center is the heart of Ellevio's business and the prerequisite for electricity to reach almost a million customers' homes – every day. As the business grows and our systems become more complex, we are building a strengthened function to secure both daily operations and long-term development. Therefore, we are establishing a new role and looking for two individuals who will help shape the role, its working methods, and focus areas over time.
As a Power Engineer for our operations, you will be an important bridge between the operational work of the operations center and other parts of the organization. Your mission is to strengthen the operations through analysis, technical support, and development of working methods. You will work closely with operations managers and leaders, combining an operational perspective with a more long-term focus on improvement and development.
Your responsibilities include, among others:
- Analyzing disturbances and contributing to improvement measures.
- Working with network analysis and providing technical support to operations.
- Participating in projects and development initiatives related to operations and electrical networks.
- Collaborating with authorities, other network owners, and contractors.
You will work independently within your area of responsibility but in close collaboration with other colleagues both inside and outside the operations center. The team is characterized by an open and supportive culture where ideas and initiatives are encouraged. With us, every workday is unique in a dynamic environment where quick decisions and problem-solving are a natural part of everyday life.

We are looking for someone who has:
- Post-secondary education focused on power engineering or similar, or equivalent work experience along with several years of experience in power engineering.
- Good system knowledge and a willingness and ability to familiarize yourself with new systems and working methods.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience in project work, control equipment, or fieldwork.
- In-depth knowledge of power systems for transmission and distribution networks.
Ellevio as an employer
It is important for us that employees feel comfortable, engaged, and driven by the desire to continuously learn and develop. Only then can we together achieve our vision of a bright and sustainable future. With us, you have great opportunities to influence the company as a whole and your own career. A fine testament to this is that we have been named a Career Company for the sixth consecutive year!
We continuously strive for a sustainable and developing work climate where equality, diversity, and inclusion are a given. For example, there is the ELLE network, Ellevio's internal women's network, to create conditions for increased collaboration and well-being.
