We are a young company but have many years of experience in the manufacturing industry. Our clear vision is to build Sweden's and the Nordic region's largest and best production partner within heavy and medium-heavy machining industry. Our customers are found in Marine, Defense, Energy, Industry, and Aerospace. We currently have about 120 employees.

Your Role:

You will be part of our quality department. In your daily work, you contribute to our high quality level by ensuring that our welds, forgings, and castings meet the right quality standards. At Aston Harald, we work with Visual inspection, Penetrant, Magnetic particle, and Ultrasonic testing according to ISO 9712. It is a requirement that you, as an OFP technician, have a competence certificate at least at level 2.

Main Tasks

• Non-destructive testing of welds and base materials
• Visual inspection
• Magnetic particle testing
• Pentrant testing
• Ultrasonic testing
• Documentation in the form of protocols
• Reporting deviations in case of material or welding defects

To succeed in this role, we believe you need:

• Competence certificate according to 9712 level 2 in VT, MT, PT, UT
• High school education
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Experience from working in ERP systems
• Be meticulous and organized
• Be positive and professional in your interactions with customers, classification societies, and your colleagues.

We are looking for someone who:

Wants to be part of ensuring the quality of products and components with very high quality requirements, and who wants to contribute and develop in a company that is experiencing significant growth.

Other:

If we assess that you have the right personal qualities but lack some of the competence certificates required for the position, the company can cover parts of the training costs.

It is an advantage if you have worked with other testing methods and standards than those we use today. It is highly meritorious if you have competence at level 3.
