ABOUT THE POSITION

Metso is a global player in sustainable process technologies for the mining and metallurgical industries. Through innovation and technical expertise, they contribute to more resource-efficient and sustainable production worldwide.

Together with Metso, we are now looking for their next Summer Trainee in the role of Service Product Engineer. Here, you will be part of the Hydrometallurgy Services team in Metso’s service operations. You will gain insight into business processes and work with aftermarket products, where you will be responsible for pricing and ensuring correct item information in the systems. You will work closely with your team of experienced colleagues and receive a mentor who supports you in your development.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Tasks

Support the Product Management team in daily work with product data, inventory issues, and pricing
Participate and prepare materials for the sale of upgrades and spare parts
Contribute to data management and information transfer in ongoing projects
Support the work with product strategy and reporting of product results
Participate in improvement work and development of processes within Product Management

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

Is studying a university or engineering degree in materials technology, mechanical engineering, industrial economics, or a similar field
Has a strong interest in technology and how technical solutions create business value
Has good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
Communicates fluently in English, both spoken and written, as it is used in daily work

It is a merit if you have:

Experience with CRM, PDM, or CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Catia V6, or Enovia) and Power BI
