You will work within our business area Hardware & Design where we combine broad engineering expertise with deep specialist knowledge and a user-centered approach – to develop physical products and digital experiences all the way from concept to large-scale production.

Responsibilities In the role of project manager, you will act as an advisor, drive feasibility studies, lead change and new development projects with clients, or lead in-house projects at Knightec Group. Expect a great variety in the projects you manage. We are looking for project managers in several different areas. You may work within:

• Production development

• Product development

• Production investments

• Process

• Quality

Qualifications We are looking for someone who is self-driven and solution-oriented with a strong technical interest. You have the ability to lead and motivate others. You are used to handling complex projects and delivering results under both time pressure and changing conditions. In addition to your personal qualities, we want you to have:

• Degree in engineering, university engineering or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g. mechanical engineering, industrial economics, or electrical engineering).

• At least 5-7 years of project management experience in the manufacturing industry.

• Experience with project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Jira, or similar) as well as knowledge of product development, production processes, and quality assurance.

• You communicate fluently in Swedish and English.

As some of our assignments are subject to defense secrecy, a security clearance may be required for the assignment.

Practical information This is a permanent position based at our office in Karlstad, Gräsdalsgatan 3. In the spring of 2026, we will move to new fresh premises centrally located in Karlstad. Travel in the service may occur to our clients. Start date is as soon as possible or by agreement.
