Why this job is for you You want to be in a creative and innovative environment where you get to work on what you enjoy, solving technical problems. Additionally, you find it interesting to manage and coordinate subsystems and their team members in a complex system that spans multiple technical areas.

The world is changing, and our customers need help with the development of both products and systems. The complexity of products and industrial systems is increasing in line with technological advancements. At Knightec Group, we have the privilege of being with our national and global customers throughout this journey. Therefore, we need you who thrive in working broadly with Systems Engineering.

You will work within our business area Hardware & Design, where we combine broad engineering expertise with deep specialist knowledge and a user-centered approach – to develop physical products and digital experiences all the way from concept to large-scale production.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the overall system perspective in technical projects – from requirements gathering to finished solution.

  • Coordinate and integrate subsystems within mechanics, electronics, automation, and software into a functioning whole.

  • Lead requirements work: identify, specify, trace, and verify system requirements in collaboration with customers and internal teams.

  • Establish and maintain system documentation, e.g., system descriptions, interface documents, and verification plans.

  • Act as a technical contact point between customers, suppliers, and internal development teams.

  • Support project managers in technical decisions and risk assessments.

  • Ensure that the system solution meets relevant standards, regulations, and customer requirements.

Qualifications We are looking for someone who enjoys tackling tricky technical challenges, is structured, analytical, and has strong communication skills, and finds it easy to collaborate cross-functionally with different technical disciplines. You are a person who enjoys sharing your knowledge while also being able to independently drive your own work forward. In addition to your personal qualities, you need to have the following:

  • Master's degree or bachelor's degree in fields such as mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, engineering physics, industrial economics, or a related technical area.

  • Further education or certification in systems engineering (e.g., INCOSE, MBSE, requirements management, or project management).

  • At least 3 years of experience working as a systems engineer, technical project manager, or another cohesive technical role.

  • Documented experience in requirements management, system architecture, and system integration within development projects.

  • Fluent communication in Swedish and English.

As some of our assignments are subject to defense confidentiality, a security clearance may be required for the assignment.
