Lead Engineer – Mechanical Design

Years of experience – 8 to 12 years

Location – Customer site, Sweden

Required skills:

1. Experience in sheet metal, fabrication parts, welding design.

2. Sound knowledge of different sub-systems in heavy commercial vehicles, forklift trucks, reach stackers, tractor trailers, etc.

3. Technical concept development, knowledge of VAVE.

4. Good understanding of design and engineering fundamentals, GD&T.

5. Build CAD models, assemblies, drawings required for integration and BOM creation in PDM.

6. Able to handle critical tasks/projects independently, maintain quality, and follow delivery of assigned tasks/projects.

7. Review and validate manufacturing drawings in accordance with applicable standards.

8. Knowledge of PLM, PDM systems, engineering change management.

9. Good knowledge of 3D modeling/drafting.

10. Very good working knowledge of CATIA V5.

11. Should have knowledge about materials used in structural design.

12. Added advantage of knowledge of NPD of on/off highway vehicles, material handling, or mobile equipment, vehicle integration of different automobile aggregates.

13. Work with customer team on initiating new design work packages and defining scope of work.

14. Regular meetings with Cyient team to maintain quality and productivity and engage with customer team.
