AkzoNobel Adhesives has been manufacturing wood adhesives and resin systems in Kristinehamn since 1962. The products are used in the production of furniture, joinery, flooring, and load-bearing structures. AkzoNobel Adhesives is primarily a production facility where our employees have various roles, including process operators, logistics and service operators, as well as a range of support functions within R&D, technology, quality, and customer service. From the factory in Kristinehamn, large volumes of wood adhesives and resins are delivered to customers around the world.

What will you be working on?
As a Project Manager, you will drive industry-related projects within the operations at AkzoNobel's site in Kristinehamn. Projects may involve improvements and upgrades of existing production processes, technical adaptations, or new installations.
The role involves responsibility from planning to execution and closure, with a focus on safety, quality, time, and cost. You will collaborate closely with various functions within the organization as well as with external suppliers and contractors.
Your responsibilities include:
• Planning, leading, and following up on projects within production and industrial operations
• Ensuring that projects are executed according to set goals regarding time, cost, quality, and safety
• Coordinating and leading cross-functional project teams
• Working systematically with risk assessment and follow-up
• Contributing to the improvement of working methods and techniques within project management
• Reporting project status and compiling experiences after completed projects
The position is permanent and full-time with immediate start. You will be based at our site in Kristinehamn and report to the Engineer Manager.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with experience in project management within an industrial environment who enjoys working systematically, solution-oriented, and in close collaboration with others. You are communicative, responsible, and have the ability to drive projects forward in a dynamic environment.
We believe you have:
• A degree in civil or engineering, such as mechanical, electrical, construction, or equivalent
• Several years of experience in project management within industry or technical operations
• Good knowledge of project planning and preferably experience with project tools such as MS Project or similar
• The ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with various stakeholders
• A structured approach to work and an interest in technology and improvement work
• Experience working in an international environment is an advantage
