Do you want to work at the intersection of mechanics, electricity, and electronics, developing technical solutions that must function in reality – not just in the CAD model? We are now looking for several electrical engineers for a high-tech product development company operating in critical societal technology, where robust and reliable constructions are crucial for the product's function.
Here, you will be offered a practically oriented design role close to both technology and product, in an environment where holistic views, quality, and technical precision are central.
About the roleIn the role of electrical engineer, you will work on the design of mechanical solutions for electrical and electronic components. The focus is on developing supporting structures, enclosures, and assemblies that protect, secure, and enable the function of electronics in demanding environments.
The work encompasses the entire design chain, from early concepts and layout work to finished solutions and documentation for manufacturing and assembly. You will design, for example, brackets, holders, enclosures, and cable routing, considering mechanical strength, vibration, temperature, manufacturability, and serviceability.
You will work closely with colleagues in electrical design, electronics, testing, and production, following your solutions all the way from idea to verified prototype and series-adapted construction. The role is practical and product-oriented, with a strong focus on solutions that work in real environments.
The work is project-based, where you sometimes drive your own design parts and sometimes are part of larger development teams.
Requirements and backgroundQualifications
Technical education in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or equivalent practical competence.
Experience in mechanical design, preferably at the intersection of mechanics and electricity.
Familiarity with 3D CAD, such as Solid Edge or similar systems.
Understanding of mechanical strength, tolerances, and manufacturing techniques.
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Driver's license B.
Meritorious
Experience from the manufacturing industry or product development.
Experience in the design of electrical enclosures, assembly, or cable routing.
Knowledge of EMC-related mechanics, shielding, or thermal management.
Experience from technically demanding or regulated environments.
As a person, you are meticulous, practically oriented, and solution-focused. You have a strong sense of how technology works in reality, not just on paper, and you enjoy taking responsibility for ensuring your designs hold all the way to the finished product.
You work in a structured manner, collaborate naturally with other professional roles, and appreciate working in cross-functional teams. You are curious, unpretentious, and have a desire to develop together with the organization.
