About the role as Technical Specialist

We are facing significant, exciting technical changes as we have now started the work towards a smarter electricity grid by introducing modern technology and increased digitalization so that we can improve our deliveries to customers and increase efficiency in our work. This change places new and expanded demands on us to have smart and well-functioning solutions, and therefore we are now looking for a Technical Specialist who will play a central role in our future work.

As a Technical Specialist, you will be part of the Operational Technology team responsible for providing the solutions and infrastructure needed to control and monitor the electricity grid, streamline maintenance work, as well as troubleshooting and fault rectification in our electricity grid. Your tasks will include operating and maintaining availability and functions in our SCADA operating system, developing our future solutions in the area. Furthermore, you will also actively participate in various types of development projects.

About you

To fit and thrive in this role, it is desirable that you have an academic education in Automation, OT/IT, power systems, tele/data communication, or equivalent. You may also have acquired equivalent competence through work experience.

• You currently work as an operations responsible system administrator or similar
• You should have several years of previous experience and knowledge from the industry or power sector within SCADA/ICS and process connections from RTUs or PLCs.
• It is advantageous if you have experience in operating SCADA systems and knowledge of protocols such as IEC104 and IEC61850.
• You speak and write Swedish fluently and have a good command of English.

To thrive and find your place in this role, you need to have a structured working method and a good ability to prioritize and plan. You are analytical and have a solution-oriented approach, and you take responsibility for your tasks. Since you collaborate a lot with the rest of the team and other units within Ellevio, you need to have good collaboration skills and be motivated to work in a group.
