Eurocommercial is an international company specializing in shopping centers across Europe. In the Swedish portfolio, there are a total of seven shopping centers from Gävle in the North to Kristianstad in the South. The client has a strong focus on the environment, sustainability, and digitalization, working to ensure that each shopping center is the obvious choice in the locality. Bergvik in Karlstad, Elins Esplanad in Skövde, and Ingelsta Shopping in Norrköping are three of these seven shopping centers included in the portfolio.

Bergvik is Eurocommercial's largest shopping center with approximately 6 million visits per year. The shopping center has 69 stores and 9 restaurants, featuring everything from major brands like H&M to small local cafes. The offerings include grocery shopping, fashion, and a food court.

Elins Esplanad in Skövde has approximately 3.6 million visits per year. In Elins Esplanad, we have 40 stores and 5 restaurants, featuring major brands like Ica and H&M. The offerings include grocery shopping, fashion, and restaurants.

Ingelsta Shopping located in Norrköping has 52 stores and 6 restaurants, with approximately 3.6 million visits per year. Here you can find brands like Åhlens, Coop, and H&M. The offerings include grocery shopping, fashion, and a food court.

About the Position

As a Technical Manager, you will work to best fulfill the client's objectives in the management agreement. You are responsible for driving and developing the technical maintenance of your assigned properties regarding economy, operations, cleanliness, safety, recycling, energy savings both in the short and long term, and meeting the clients' quality and environmental goals.

In the role of Technical Manager, the following tasks and responsibilities are included:

• Operationally responsible for establishing maintenance plans and conducting maintenance inspections

• Operationally responsible for procurement and control of ongoing and planned maintenance, as well as ensuring that the current properties have the most environmentally friendly and cost-effective contractor agreements

• Operationally responsible for the operations and maintenance budget

• Responsible for purchasing, quality assurance, and evaluation of framework agreements and object-specific suppliers

• Responsible for continuously conducting customer care towards clients and tenants

• Strategically responsible for the environment, work environment, and systematic fire protection work, authority inspections, safety rounds, and compliance with laws

• Responsible for delivering statistics and information related to the client's various reports on economy and sustainability

In this position, you will work with the technical management of three different shopping centers. You will be part of the center management in the various properties and work closely with both the center manager and local operations organization. You will primarily be based at Bergvik but will also have ongoing responsibility for the technical management of Elins Esplanad and Ingelsta Shopping, which means that regular travel to Skövde and Norrköping is included in the role.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has:

• A Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent technical education, or equivalent work experience

• Several years of experience in technical management of commercial properties where you have driven maintenance projects and been responsible for authority inspections and contract procurement

• Good knowledge of finance and administration as well as experience in budget work

• Good knowledge of Excel

• Driver's license (B)

• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Experience as a project manager

• Experience in technical management of shopping centers

Information

The position is a permanent employment, and you will be employed as a Technical Manager by Newsec, with your office at Bergvik shopping center. The start date will be agreed upon. The position includes regular travel to Skövde and Norrköping.
