As a logistics strategist, you will have overall responsibility for developing purchasing and logistics processes. You will work closely with managers and key functions, drive procurements, and optimize product ranges and inventory levels.

Your Responsibilities

Primarily, you will work with procurement, product ranges, and inventory levels mainly within material supply. In the long term, other areas may also become relevant. The role of logistics strategist is a specialist function with significant influence and leadership responsibility in procurements and development initiatives. You will be responsible for the procured product range and act as the contact person for suppliers, having a significant impact on which products are included in the assortment.

You will, together with the region's reference groups, be responsible for the region's procured product range, manage daily operations, analyze and follow up, and work with support for our wholesale agreement in collaboration with, among others, the procurement unit, healthcare units, and the environmental unit.

Your Skills and Competencies

You have post-secondary education with several years of experience and good competence regarding process, quality, and development work. You have the ability to understand new operations and a strong focus on customer, results, and quality. It is important that you have good knowledge of consumables and knowledge of contracted products.

We would like you to have nursing competence or knowledge in laboratory operations, and that you are accustomed to collaborating both internally and externally in complex flows. Experience in logistics operations is an advantage.

We place great emphasis on personal qualities and high social competence as well as a good ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve set goals. The role requires that you are confident in your competence and dare to question established working methods when you see improvement potential; you are proactive, take initiative, and enjoy driving issues independently in close collaboration with others.
