About the role of Operations Control Engineer

Our control center is the heart of our operations, ensuring that electricity flows into the homes of our 970,000 customers every day. As an Operations Control Engineer at Ellevio, you will work at one of Sweden's largest control centers and have the opportunity to work in a modern environment where development is a focus, while also being an important part of managing parts of Sweden's infrastructure.

The electricity industry is currently undergoing an incredibly exciting development, where customers are taking a more active role and collaboration with renewable production, storage solutions, and flexibility is becoming increasingly important. The power grids are crucial in this transformation, and operational activities are central. As an Operations Control Engineer, you will have a varied daily routine where you will collaborate and solve challenges with internal colleagues as well as external contractors. In this role, you will work with planned operations, monitoring, management, and troubleshooting in Ellevio's power grid. You will also be part of our operational support that supports the operational activities. The operational support also handles the development of the business, capacity challenges, proactive analysis, and monitoring of flows in the grid, etc.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a high school or post-secondary education with a technical focus (preferably in electrical engineering, energy and environment, or electronics) and a few years of relevant work experience.
• Has worked with systems for monitoring and controlling processes. We believe that this competence facilitates understanding of the business, but you can also learn and develop in this area in the position.
• You can express yourself fluently in both spoken and written Swedish.

Meritorious:

• Knowledge of electricity production, transmission, distribution, or energy flows
