About the position

Västerhaninge Dental Care is looking for a patient scheduler to work on-site at the clinic. The role involves contacting our existing patients by phone to schedule follow-up appointments, follow up on missed bookings, and assist patients in completing their planned dental care.

The work is an important part of the clinic's daily operations and contributes to a well-filled appointment book, better continuity of care, and increased security for patients.

Responsibilities

• Call patients who have previously visited us to schedule follow-up appointments and check-ups.
• Follow up with patients who have not yet booked their next appointment.
• Manage cancellations and rescheduling while offering new appointment times.
• Address patients who are hesitant about visits and calmly assist them in moving forward.
• Document calls and follow-ups in the journal/booking system according to routine.
• Collaborate with providers and reception regarding planning and prioritization of appointments.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Very good Swedish in speech and writing.
• Good telephone skills and confidence in conversations.
• Basic to good computer skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in booking, reception, customer service, or administrative work.
• Experience in dental care, health care, or working with confidential information.
• Experience with journal or booking systems.

• Enjoys working on the phone and has the stamina for repeated calls.
• Is clear, calm, and service-oriented and can lead conversations towards a booking without being perceived as pushy.
• Can handle objections such as uncertainty, time constraints, or hesitation in a professional manner.
• Is structured, meticulous, and follows up until the work is completed.
• Has good judgment and handles patient information with integrity.

Other

• The work takes place on-site at the clinic in Västerhaninge.
• Part-time position with working hours scheduled for afternoons/evenings.
• Introduction and support will be provided on-site.
