Specops was founded in 2001 and became part of Outpost24 in 2022, an international player in cybersecurity with approximately 350 employees and offices in Karlskrona, London, Plymouth, Barcelona, Philadelphia, and Toronto. Our R&D team, Access Risk, is located at the headquarters on Vasagatan in Stockholm and consists of about 20 people; developers, test developers, and a technical writer. We work closely with product management, devops, and support, with a strong focus on quality, security, and innovation.

As a Senior Software Developer, you will be an important part of our team in Stockholm. You will report to our Engineering Manager and receive dedicated support from a colleague during your initial time with us. We work agile in smaller teams where you will both develop new products and further develop existing solutions. Our products are available on-prem, in the cloud, and as mobile apps, which means varied tasks and the opportunity to influence the entire lifecycle from idea to finished solution.

You will also contribute to our overall responsibility through troubleshooting, bug management, and improvement work, but the majority of your time will be spent developing new features. We value automation, clean code, testability, and making it easy to do the right thing.

• Develop new features and products in C#/.NET.

• Write clean, reusable, and testable code according to best practices.

• Participate in design, architecture discussions, and code reviews.

• Collaborate with product management, QA, devops, and global development teams.

• Contribute to troubleshooting, bug fixes, and third-line support when required.

• Share your expertise and contribute to a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

Education:

• Master's degree in computer science or similar technical field.

Experience and skills:

• Documented experience in development using C#/.NET.

• At least 5 years of experience in an agile development environment.

• Knowledge of Windows/Win32, security/PKI, and experience with Entra ID (Azure AD).

• Experience with Visual Studio, .NET, JavaScript, and PowerShell.

• Understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, and version control.
