Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (The Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following:

• wants to work with a man in his 30s living in Linköping

• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• has a manual B driver's license

• is non-smoking

• is tolerant of pets

It is also a merit if you:

• have experience in similar work

• have experience with autism and/or low-arousal approaches

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 90%. Working hours are scheduled during daytime, evening, and night, with 3 hours of on-call time during the night. The position includes an average of about 5 hours of on-call time per week.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation is in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

Immediately or by agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
