Södralapplands Avfall & Vatten AB is looking for an Operations Technician based in Dorotea

About us

Södralapplands Avfall och Vatten AB is a municipal-owned operating company established in 2024, responsible for waste, water, and sewage in Dorotea and Åsele municipalities.

We consist of 31 employees. The Water and Sewage Unit is responsible for the operation of waterworks and treatment plants. The Waste Unit's responsibilities include the collection of municipal waste, sludge, hazardous waste, and the operation of recycling centers.

Job Responsibilities

Operation of facilities within water and sewage, as well as construction work and other related tasks. On-call duty may be required in this position.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role, has a positive attitude towards helping others, and seeks new challenges. It is important that you have a strong sense of service and a professional approach. You should also have good collaboration skills and appreciate the variety between independent work and teamwork.

You should have at least a BE license and a wheel loader training.

A C license with a valid YKB, good experience driving trucks, and training for vehicle-mounted cranes is an asset but not a requirement.

You have basic computer skills, are interested in technology, and can express yourself clearly in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

We place great emphasis on personal qualities such as being self-driven, organized, and responsible. You need to be stress-resistant and enjoy working independently while also being a team player. In your role as an operations technician, you will meet customers daily, so it is important to have a good sense of service.

Scope

Full-time, permanent position with a 6-month probationary period.
