We are now looking for a service technician for our Mining business area at our department in Skellefteå, covering the northern Sweden region. Our service organization is growing strongly from north to south, and we need to expand our team of employees.

About the job

As a service technician, you will have an independent role where you troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on our products. You will work both internally with the sales department and externally with our customers. You will also train our customers in machine usage and contribute to further developing our aftermarket business by suggesting new solutions and recommending improvements.

Your tasks include, among others:

• Troubleshooting, repairs, and installations of rock drilling machines.
• Planning jobs together with colleagues in the team.
• Ordering spare parts and documenting completed work.
• Improvement work on machines, products, and processes.
• Technical support to the sales team and employees.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Location and flexibility

You will work with Skellefteå as your base and operate in larger parts of northern Sweden, with access to a service vehicle. Overnight stays may occur.

Your profile

You are technically interested with a strong inner drive. You either have a high school education in the technical field or equivalent knowledge through previous work experience. Basic computer skills and a B driver's license are also required for the job. It is a plus if you have knowledge of hydraulics and construction machinery. You speak and write fluently in both Swedish and English.

You are a service-oriented person who enjoys meeting customers. Since you plan large parts of your work independently and work autonomously at the customer's site, you also need to be meticulous and structured in your approach. With your willingness to learn more, grow, and improve in your work, there are great opportunities for a developing job.
