About the Company

Property is part of Region Västerbotten's area of operations Digitalization and Service. Property is responsible for Region Västerbotten's local supply, including both strategy and implementation of operations and maintenance as well as renovation and new construction. Our customers are our citizens, patients, and all operations within Region Västerbotten. The department is a regional operation with about 95 employees, of which approximately 60 are in Umeå.

Your Responsibilities

As a Property Technician/Electrician with us, you provide important service and enable actions that affect many. We are looking for property technicians in Umeå who will primarily work with preventive maintenance of electrical installations within backup power, UPS, transformer stations, electric vehicle charging, and the hospital's other electrical systems.

Your role includes performing inspections and maintenance of facilities, optimizing buildings and their technical installations and equipment. You will also handle incoming cases from our operations. Ordering smaller contracting work and following up on these tasks is also part of the job.

On-call duty may occur.

Your Background/Your Qualities

For the position, you need to be a trained electrician and have an ECY certificate or equivalent competence, as well as a few years of experience in service or industry. Other requirements include a B driver's license, computer skills from technical and administrative systems, and good verbal and written skills in Swedish.

Mentorship and training in our facilities and systems will be provided to give you onboarding and security.

To be successful in the role of property technician, you need to be a meticulous and safety-conscious person who wants to develop in your work. You enjoy working independently and solving the challenges you face in your work, but you also find it easy to collaborate with people from different backgrounds and competencies. You take responsibility for achieving our goals together and contribute to doing so efficiently and with quality. You are happy to share your knowledge and experience.
