We are looking for an employee for our Office Services unit located in Umeå. In Umeå, there are three people working to manage our offices. In addition to Umeå, you will also be responsible for the offices in Lycksele and Örnsköldsvik, which means some travel is required. As an employee at the Umeå office, you will also be responsible for serving other connected authorities.
Service, support, and administration
As an Office Services Generalist, you will have a varied job with many different tasks. The work involves informing, guiding, coordinating, and being responsible for the ongoing operations and overall functioning of the office. We serve the Swedish Social Insurance Agency and other connected authorities by managing rented premises, working with security issues, mail and goods handling, and IT (on-site support). Your tasks will include relocations, removal or establishment of IT workstations. Office Services also handles communication equipment to varying extents.
Office Services provides technical and user support on-site for the employees of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency and our external customers. Installation of workstations, troubleshooting, and fault correction are included, as well as contacts with service partners. We are responsible for the administration of access cards and work with purchasing, ordering, invoice management, office supplies, furnishing, cleaning, climate issues, and work environment. Together with your team, you will plan and take responsibility for the daily operations, both collectively and through independent decisions. To be successful in the role, you should also be able to see the big picture, identify needs, and come up with the best solutions. An important part of the job involves contributing to continuous improvements and development of the operations.
As an Office Services Generalist, you will handle confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you have a high security awareness if you are to work with us. Travel and heavy lifting may occur in the job.

We are looking for you who
- have a high school diploma or equivalent experience and qualifications
- have good collaboration skills, are service-oriented, and are good at building positive relationships
- have a systematic and meticulous work approach and the ability to see the big picture
- quickly understand problems and tasks and solve them in a relevant way
- have good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- are proficient with computers and have knowledge of the Office suite
- have a driver's license for passenger cars.
It is an advantage if you
- have worked in a service profession where you have met customers in person
- are stable and can maintain energy even in stressful situations
- have worked with fire protection and safety
- have experience with case management systems
- have good technical understanding and experience working with on-site support in common IT environments.

Other
1 position, permanent, full-time, with start date according to agreement. A probationary period may be applicable. Travel is included in the position.
