In this role as a Senior Data Scientist, you will work in a data-driven team focused on optimizing and personalizing the visual user experience in a digital product used by millions of users daily. The assignment is linked to editorial and design-related platforms where visual content plays a crucial role in user experience. You will contribute with advanced analytics, experimental design, and strategic decision support in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and conducting A/B tests across various surfaces in the product to enable well-informed decisions. The work involves analyzing large datasets to identify insights into user behavior and user experience, with a particular focus on editorial and design systems. You will define relevant success metrics and develop effective measurement strategies to follow up on product initiatives. The role also involves communicating analyses and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels and working closely with developers, product owners, and designers. You are also expected to actively contribute to the broader data science community within the organization.

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Data Scientist

• Strong skills in analyzing complex data using SQL (e.g., Google BigQuery), Python, and/or R

• Strong theoretical foundation and practical experience in experimental design and analysis

• Good knowledge of statistical methods such as linear and logistic regression, significance testing, and statistical modeling

• Experience collaborating with engineers in product development processes and transforming open questions into concrete analysis plans

• Experience creating insightful dashboards in tools like Tableau, Looker Studio, or similar BI tools
