Fortifications Agency is looking for a Security Coordinator
The Fortifications Agency is seeking a Security Coordinator for the Regional Security Support Group within the Security Department. We are experiencing strong growth, and the Regional Security Support Group is now being expanded to better meet our customers' needs on-site. Your daily life – strengthening Sweden's security
The Security Protection Unit works under the Security Protection Chief with focused, supportive, and follow-up security protection work at the agency. The unit is primarily responsible for the areas of information security and security protection planning. The Regional Security Support Group is responsible for ongoing support within the entire security protection framework. The group provides targeted support to the agency's regions and the assignments are also carried out in close collaboration with the Armed Forces and other partners within the defense family.
As a Security Coordinator, you are expected to participate in the security protection work at the agency and help develop the protection of Sweden's security. You will actively support the security protection together with the Eastern Region. You will participate in collaborative forms with the agency's partners within the defense family. The position requires solid knowledge and experience in identifying protected values and handling security protection classified information.
The position involves many points of contact and collaborations both within and outside the agency, and you are expected to share your knowledge internally and externally by informing and educating. You will analyze and manage security protection incidents, and part of the work may also involve supportive control activities. The role includes identifying protected values in projects, supporting security protection analyses, and information security analyses. Travel is part of the job and can be planned.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in the security protection field, or equivalent documented work experience that can be assessed as equivalent, with very good knowledge of security protection legislation and applicable regulations. You have experience in qualified security protection work and several years of experience in identifying protected values, security protection analysis, physical security, and information security. You have leadership competence that we assess as satisfactory and good knowledge of administrative IT support systems. You communicate and express yourself well both verbally and in writing in Swedish. A Class B driver's license is required.
Experience in security protection work and the Armed Forces or Security Police's regulations regarding security protection is an advantage. If you have experience in giving presentations and conducting training, that is also positive.

The ability to create understanding and a holistic view of security protection issues within several different areas of operation is an important skill to be successful in this role. You can clearly and effortlessly convey your message at both management level and in operational activities or in an investment project.
You are structured, positive, self-driven, and have the patience and ability to work strategically towards long-term goals. To succeed in the role, you need to be persistent and engaged in driving your own work forward. You have a high security awareness with high integrity and good judgment, and a pronounced drive to protect Sweden's security.

About the employment
The position is a permanent employment and may begin with a probationary period. As a permanent employee, you will be placed in a war position. The place of employment is Stockholm. An employment with us requires Swedish citizenship and involves placement in a security class. A security check with a background check will be conducted before employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
