Do you have experience working in the field of physical protection, fortification protection, and security technology, where you have driven and implemented security technical solutions, in line organization and/or in project form and want to participate in the Government Offices' security work? As our new employee, you will have an important task with varied and interesting assignments and many points of contact.

In the role of security specialist, you will work in the area of physical protection, primarily with standardization, requirement specification, and follow-up of fortification protection and security technology. The work is carried out both in the line organization and within the framework of assignments and projects. In the role of security specialist, you may also work with other tasks within physical security and the security area. The emphasis is on fortification protection and security technology in property projects.

The role also includes participating in working groups in the development of regulations, guidelines, and instructions, as well as participating in the development of new working methods, routines, or similar in the area of physical protection. You collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders. In the role of security specialist, you may also work with other tasks within physical security and the security area. As a security specialist, you will be part of the physical protection section within the unit for physical protection and surveillance, which is one of three units in the Security Department.

Your background

We are looking for someone with a high school diploma and relevant education in the security field. You have several years of experience working in the area of physical protection, fortification protection, and security technology and have experience working in security-sensitive operations. You also have experience in driving and implementing security technical solutions, in line organization and/or in project form. You also have knowledge of applicable standards and sizing in the area of physical protection, both fortification protection and security technology.

It is an advantage if you have completed security protection-related training and if you have experience in project work. Experience working with security issues in the public sector and in a larger organization is also advantageous. Furthermore, it is advantageous if you have experience participating as a specialist expert in assignments and/or projects. If you have expertise in security and operational protection and knowledge of international standards in the security field, it is also advantageous.

Very good knowledge of both Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is a requirement.

Other

One or more permanent positions starting with a six-month probationary period. The position is classified in a security class and a security review with a background check will be conducted before a decision on employment is made. You must be a Swedish citizen, but you may have a foreign background.
