Specialist Physician at the Diagnostic Center

We have merged into one operational area, and our ambition moving forward is to utilize each other's expertise through training and collaboration between our geriatrics and internal medicine departments.

Our operational area includes geriatric and internal medicine inpatient and outpatient care, as well as palliative inpatient care and ASIH. At our clinics, we investigate and treat common major diseases such as cognitive impairment, osteoporosis, diabetes, stroke, and heart diseases. Our clinics also include the Diagnostic Center, where patients with unknown primary tumors or nonspecific cancer symptoms are investigated, as well as a clinic for multimorbid elderly patients.

We now have the opportunity to offer you, with broad expertise and an interest in clinical investigation work, a chance to join us at the Diagnostic Center. We investigate patients referred with questions about unknown primary tumors or serious nonspecific symptoms, and we work in teams with nurses who also act as coordinators and contact nurses, as well as with other physicians, where we collectively have an educational responsibility for ST physicians from, among others, primary care. We envision that the applicant will primarily be placed at the Diagnostic Center, but there is also an opportunity to participate in the other activities of the medical clinic for those interested.

The investigations at the Diagnostic Center are conducted in outpatient care. We want you to have extensive experience in your specialty area, which could be internal medicine, hematology, oncology, rheumatology, or another specialty that we deem appropriate. We have short decision-making paths and the opportunity to influence is good. There is also the possibility for research.

Your qualifications

Specialist physician in internal medicine, hematology, rheumatology, oncology, or another related specialty with experience in clinical investigation work.

Employment form

Permanent, full-time. Part-time is possible by agreement.
