About the position

We are an oncology inpatient department and are part of the Karolinska Comprehensive Cancer Center, which is world-leading in cancer care and research.

At Oncology 10, we care for patients with lung cancer, breast cancer, and sarcoma. Patients are cared for due to acute symptoms related to their tumor disease or side effects after treatment with chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or radiation therapy.

Our patients come in through emergency flow, so every day is unique and varied. This diversity gives you, as a nurse, a broad knowledge base and the opportunity to develop and lead nursing work.

We are looking for someone who

• is a confident person with an interest in acute oncology

• sees the whole picture and considers both the larger perspective and the best interests of the organization in your decisions
• has a genuine interest in nursing, especially in cancer care
• wants to contribute to the development of nursing for our patients.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Licensed nurse
• Good knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Experience working in a palliative inpatient department
• Experience working in an acute care department.
