Do you want to work night shifts in a world-class specialized oncology inpatient department?
We are now looking for an experienced nurse who wants to be part of our dedicated night team at Karolinska University Hospital.
You will be offered
- the opportunity to take a general oncology course of 7.5 credits, further education as a specialist nurse in oncology with paid salary

About the position
We are an oncology inpatient department and are part of the Karolinska Comprehensive Cancer Center, which is world-leading in cancer care and research.
At Oncology 10, we care for patients with lung cancer, breast cancer, and sarcoma. Patients are treated for acutely arising symptoms related to the tumor disease or side effects after treatment with chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or radiation therapy.
Our patients come in through emergency flow, so every day is unique and varied. This diversity gives you as a nurse a broad knowledge base and the opportunity to develop and lead nursing work.

The schedule includes night and weekend work, according to the 24/7 agreement.
We are looking for someone who
- is a confident person with an interest in acute oncology
- can easily adapt to changing circumstances and sees opportunities in changes
- takes initiative, starts activities, and achieves results
- sees the whole picture and considers both the larger perspective and the best interests of the organization in your decisions
- has a genuine interest in nursing, especially in cancer care
- wants to contribute to developing nursing for our patients.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Licensed nurse with at least 2 years of clinical work
- Good knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written
Meritorious:
- Specialist nurse in a relevant field
- Experience of night work
- Experience working with oncology
- Experience in inpatient care.
