Söderhamn Your Health Center

Your health center has approximately 6,700 registered patients and provides standard primary care with family doctor services, rehabilitation, psychosocial therapists, and child healthcare. Our team includes doctors, nurses, district nurses, diabetes nurses, asthma/COPD nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychosocial therapists, and medical secretaries. We also have a close collaboration with Linden Your Health Center.

The operation will become part of Region Gävleborg Your Health Center AB, the company for publicly run health and child healthcare centers in Gävleborg. The transition will take place on February 1, 2026. Together, we want to develop and shape primary care and create a good working environment for managers and employees.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a general practitioner with us, you will work in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment where you meet patients of all ages with varying healthcare needs. You will work closely with district nurses, nurses, physiotherapists, secretaries, and our psychosocial team, becoming an integral part of a safe, competent, and cohesive workgroup. The close collaboration among colleagues is one of our greatest strengths, and together we work to provide our patients with the best possible support, treatment, and guidance towards a healthier life.

Your main job responsibilities include:

• consultation work with urgent visits, new patients, and follow-ups
• supervision of doctors in training
• development of teamwork with other professional categories.

The position includes work at the family doctor emergency service in Söderhamn, which means you will also be on call during certain evenings and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with well-developed collaboration skills and a professional approach when meeting both patients and colleagues. You adapt easily to changing conditions and demonstrate a structured work style even during periods of high workload. You are also resilient, stable, and able to prioritize in a way that ensures good care quality. Furthermore, we see that you have a trustworthy and engaged work style that helps inspire and positively influence your surroundings. By sharing your knowledge and professional judgment, you contribute to the development of both the team and the organization as a whole.

In the role of general practitioner, you must have:

• Swedish medical license
• specialist certificate in general medicine.

It is an advantage if you have experience with the Cosmic journal system and PMO.
