RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role as a personal assistant, you are expected to support and assist the user with care and participation in community life based on decisions and implementation plans, as well as work with quality assurance, documentation, and organizational development together with the workgroup.

The job as a personal assistant requires that you are self-sufficient and responsible since you will be working alone with the user during all/parts of your work shift.

The working hours will be varied, including night shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is interested in working as a personal assistant and who understands what it means to provide support based on the user's individual needs and disabilities. We consider it an advantage if you have training as a nursing assistant or similar education focused on the disability area. We also see it as an advantage to have previously worked as a personal assistant.

As a colleague with us, you work with the individual in focus, which makes it important that you are attentive, have a good approach, and have the ability to take initiative. You communicate with both users, colleagues, management, and relatives, which means you need to have the ability to understand someone else's situation/perspective. This also means having the ability to read situations to adapt to the user's needs.

As a colleague, you are expected to collaborate and contribute to a good work environment where all employees take responsibility and support each other.
