Care Assistant at Pjäsen in Visby
In Region Gotland, you can develop and grow, both as an individual and together with others. When you work with us, you contribute to making Gotland an even better place for people in all stages of life. We make each other better.
Pjäsen
Pjäsen is a modern and cozy nursing home centrally located in Visby, with a total of 100 apartments spread over four floors.
We take pride in our broad competence and our dedicated employees who support each other across our 10 departments. Three of these departments are specialized for residents with dementia. Here, the resident is always at the center, and we work with individual care plans based on our shared values: trust, care, and participation.
Your Responsibilities
During the night, you will be responsible for standard care tasks, including personal care, medication management, and delegated health care tasks. You create safety and well-being for our residents based on their individual needs.
You will work alongside experienced and helpful colleagues who all strive towards the same goal – a safe, calm, and dignified night for the residents.
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant and meets the requirements to use the protected professional title.
We prefer that you have experience in care and night work. Experience working with cognitive/medical disabilities or palliative care is considered an asset. A positive attitude and contributing to a good work environment are important. You should be comfortable working both independently and in a team, be flexible and able to adapt to different individuals and situations, and have a good command of Swedish in both spoken and written form.
Warmly welcome your application – we look forward to meeting you!
Before an employment offer, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record must be presented, here (https://polisen.se/tjanster-tillstand/belastningsregistret/kontrollera-dina-uppgifter-i-belastningsregistret/).

About Region Gotland
Region Gotland is not only Gotland's largest employer, but we are also the only region in Sweden that has municipal, health, and medical care responsibilities and regional development responsibilities within the same organization.
