Folktandvården Wisby is part of Folktandvården Gotland, which has around one hundred employees in total.

We now offer you, as a dental student, an opportunity for a summer temporary position at Folktandvården Wisby.

If interested, there may be an opportunity to work at the clinic in the rural town of Hemse.

Your Responsibilities

The design of the position depends on your prior knowledge and is determined in dialogue with the manager.

If you have completed the ninth semester, you will have the opportunity to work as a dentist on a temporary license with the assistance of an experienced dental nurse. If you are earlier in your education, your responsibilities may include assistance, sterilization work, or independent patient work within the frameworks of the National Board of Health and Welfare.

You will gain good insight into the daily life of the team and have the opportunity to experience Folktandvården Gotland as an employer.

Who Are You?

We are looking for you who are studying to become a dentist. We prefer that you have completed at least two semesters by the summer of 2026, but encourage all interested to apply. Those who have completed the ninth semester and can work on a temporary license will be given priority. The clinic can assist in finding accommodation to some extent.

As the number of positions is limited, we will prioritize connections to Gotland, availability of accommodation, and the number of completed semesters in your education.

Your Swedish language skills should be at least at C1 level.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a hiring decision is made, a background check will be conducted through an extract from the criminal record.
