The Social Services Administration operates under the principle that all people we meet have the same value and are unique. Within the administration, there are IFO, LSS operations, social psychiatry, health and medical care, home care, and special accommodations. About 800 employees work around the clock for our target groups.

Within social services, there is IFO with adults, children, and families, as well as financial support. We work in various ways to develop investigations and follow-up work regarding children, families, youth, and adults. We seek new methods and develop internal and external collaboration to make good assessments and find effective solutions to the needs we encounter.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a team leader with us, you will be part of a team with a unit manager, team leaders, social workers/reception, social workers, rehabilitation coordinators, budget, debt, and consumer advisors, employees in our reception, as well as caseworkers for estate notifications and incorrect payments. Our unit is characterized by mutual support, strong engagement, and utilizing everyone's competencies. As a new employee with us, you will receive a tailored introduction.
In the role of team leader, you will serve as an accessible and close support for the social workers in their important societal mission, which involves investigating the individual's need for support for self-sufficiency and assessing the right to financial assistance in the meantime. You will lead and distribute the daily work and contribute to creating a safe working environment. With a coaching approach, you will recognize the strengths and potential of the social workers and support them in their continued development. You will play a crucial role in the introduction of new employees and during students' practical training.
By staying updated on current research, case law, and legislation, you ensure that the work is conducted legally and based on individual assessments. In the role of team leader, you are responsible for the operational methods and case guidance. You are responsible for the development of methods, routines, and knowledge support.
You will collaborate both operationally and strategically with internal and external stakeholders.
The assignment involves close collaboration with the unit manager on various operational issues, such as planning and follow-up of goals for employees and the unit. You are an important link in addressing workplace issues, highlighting professional development needs, and contributing to a safe and sustainable working environment. Together with the unit manager, you will be part of the IFO management group where we plan together and support each other across all areas of social services.
QUALIFICATIONS

In addition to personal qualities, you also have:
Requirements
- A degree in social work or another higher education of at least 180 credits, which the employer assesses as equivalent
- Experience in public authority exercising financial assistance
- Good knowledge of current legislation, practice, and authority publications that govern the work, ensuring that you work legally and with high quality in the area
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
- Good documentation skills
- Good knowledge of handling various computer programs and systems
- Driver's license B
Meritorious
- Experience in a supervisory position within the field of financial assistance or other public authority work within social services
- Education in social law
- Education/experience in solution-focused working methods
- Education/experience in the area of violence in close relationships (VINR)
- Education/experience in incorrect payments (FUT)
- Education/experience in estate management
